When I was young, I remember it was so quiet the whole week . No children can be seen playing in the streets. I can still remember my mom saying " Don't play or else if  you got yourself bruised Jesus Christ will come out from there " or " your bruises won't heal fast", and things like that. We were also not allowed to eat pork on Thursday and Friday for the observance of Lent At that time as a kid , I don't have choice. but now that I'm older and have kids my own .
