EVENTS: 4 Da Best -The Repeat!

Another upcoming event's gonna happen on May 4 and 11, 2012. And get ready for a fun-filled night of laughter and "4 da best" performances of 4 anticipated comedians; Pokwang, Pooh. Chokoleit and K Brosas.

Before this they have already performed for two successful nights with the same concert bill at Music Museum and because the concert was a success thus a repeat is yet yet to stage on May 4 and 11, 2012.

I am so excited to see K Brosas in person because aside from being a comedienne and singer, she also has her own blog.During the presscon, K Brosas and Chokoleit were the ones present.

In my observation the reason why their concerts were a success is because the were long-time colleagues already. Rapport between them is what that helps the deliver the best show they can ever give to their audience.

And I quote Chokoleit as saying" Iisiping ng iba na ginawa na namin lahat sa unang concert. well, that's not true. marami pa'ng sorpresa kayong makikita sa repeat namin. mahirap ikwento, e, basta;"

With teh K Brosas!

"4 da best The Repeat" is produce by AMINE ENTERTAINMENT and directed by the veteran comedy concert director Andrew de Real.

And this group of friends will surely enjoy the concert,,So where are the tickets....?

Stylistics Live in Concert Today at Smart ARANETA

Celebrate the music of best-known Philadelphia soul group of the 1970s as That’s Ntertainment Productions, in cooperation with ABS-CBN, present THE STYLISTICS Live in Manila happening on April 12, 2012, 8pm at Smart Araneta Coliseum.  Their special guests are Rico J. Puno and Elizabeth Ramsey.

The Stylistics have been recording and touring for almost forty years and enjoyed twelve straight Top 10 hits from 1971-1974. These include their stellar debut“Betcha by Golly, Wow”, “Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)”, “You Are Everything”, “I’m Stone in Love with You”, “Break Up to Make Up”, and the shimmering sweet soul ballad “You Make Me Feel Brand New”.

Their early 70s work with producer Thom Bell and his collaborator, lyricist Linda Creed yielded some of the most popular love songs of that era.Known for their sleek, soulful Philadelphia sound, this quartet has been performing for nearly 40 years and became a worldwide-favorite for their showmanship, harmony and style.  Formed in 1968, The Stylistics was originally comprised lead Russell Thompkins, Jr., Herbie Murrell, Airrion Love, James Smith, and James Dunn. After the original group disbanded in the 80s, Love, Murrell, and Thompkins continued to tour until 2000 and brought in two new members from one set of the Delfonics – Harold Eban Brown as lead singer, and tenor Van Fields who also sang with an a cappella group called A Perfect Blend. In 2011, Fields departed and was replaced with Jason Sharpe (formerly with Heatwave).

In 2008 they recorded their latest album, That Same Way. The new album marks as their first album of new material this century but still filled with sweet soul spirit that initially made The Stylistics famous. Their song, “People Make the World Go Round”, was used by Spike Lee in the soundtrack for 1994 film Crooklyn, as performed by Marc Dorsey.

As That’s Ntertainment Productions brings one of the finest acts of the 70’s, The Stylistics– consisting of founding members Airrion Love and Herb Murrell and newer additions Van Fields and Eban Brown—will definitely spark fond memories in an amazing night for fans of Soul and R&B genres decades ago.
