SM CITY San Lazaro 3-Day Sale Shopping and MORE

As promised, I am sharing my Day 1 of the SM City San Lazaro 3-Day Sale Madness. I am one LRT ride away from SM San Lazaro. This community mall won my heart because of its quaint and positive-looking facade that never fails to give me positive vibes when ever I visit it.

Of course, as always I failed to shop during the 10-12nn special discount offer for SMAC cardholders during its first day. I overslept, that's the reason, but surely that's no reason for me to wake up and bond with my fellow bloggers who's up and ready for a whole day of fun mall-hopping and shopping at SM City San Lazaro.

My shopping pals that day was Rain of (www.raindeocampo.wordress.com), Michelle Coladilla (www.galmourmoments.net), Ayzee (www.chilipinay.blogspot.com), and Azrael (www.azraelsmerryland.blogspot.com).

I was so glad I did my shopping and mall hopping with this group of awesome peeps, though I apologized for being so late.

Anyways, here's how we started our SM CITY SAN LAZARO mall-hopping and and food-trip.

Because they waited too long, It will be a great pep for us to start it all with a "late" lunch, and we all agreed to eat at Wendy's!

We all agreed that we missed Wendy's so much, that we all have the same wish after eating--Please bring back the SALAD BAR!!!

What we ordered is way different if you are Wendy's fan. Since Wendy's Real Meal Deals were the new offerings of Wendy's; we all agreed to order Beef Steak and and the Spring Rolls.

These are not your ordinary Beef Steak! The patties used here are the same patties used for their burgers.

These are just two of the many Wendy's Real Meal Deals! You can now enjoy meals that starts at a minimum of Php49  and if you an additional 12oz Coke drink, all you need is add Php10. Need not to worry, because here are the remaining Wendy's Real Meal deals: Chili Con Carne Rice, Spaghetti, and Macaroni Side Salad.

After "reminiscing" those 'ol memories with their salad, me and the rest of the gang decided what SM CITY San Lazaro has to offer for their 3-Day Sale!

OUR HOME, SM Dept. Store concentrated retail of Home fixtures and accents is having their 50% off Great Sale -SOFA SALE. 

This comfy yet minimal in design-kind-of-sofa will have to patiently waiting in my bucket list for the meantime. We've just moved on to a new house and have to give up our old and bigger sofa, so this one has to wait till we have new house to move in.

But looking at how comfy and warm the hues of these "pillows" (if I'm not mistaken) which you can sit while watching TV in the den, is definitely a must-have for someone like me who has penchant for watching TV a lot.

SOFA-Hopping can be fun but for people who are "innately" lucky will find this yummy moon-cake game more fun!

It's officially "Happy Mooncake Festival" today at all SM SUPERMALLS, so Mooncake fans..

Grab these yummy mooncakes and bring as "pasalubongs" to your family!

Wondering what was long lines for? Is Papa Chen or Sir Chief, gracing the MoonCake Festival?

The SM Department Store

With my experience in 3-day sales like this, SM CITY SAN LAZARO, was so far the highest and with the most wide-ranged when it comes to items on sale! So on their next 3-Day Sale , I hope I'll be losing more weight so that even the nice tees or blouses on sale will suit me!

After that feet-gobbling mall trip, it's time to pamper ourselves at BEAUTY and BUTTER. That day till Sept.30, 2012 Beauty and Butter will be having 10% off for every service the shoppers will avail.

Beauty and Butter was previously located at the 2nd Floor but now it is strategically located at the lower ground to join other beauty and wellness-offering services.

I chose to have my mani-pedi service and I'm glad (the girl in front of me)my  Nail technician was very accommodating. And did I tell you that I "fancy" their hairbands!

This how my nail art looked like. I'm a bit unhappy on how it looked because it isn't the same with the sample nail art. But just the same I wanted to give my nail tech an "A" for effort.


That afternoon wouldn't be same without ending it with something "sweet" and tummy filling! We ended the day with piping-hot bibingka from Antonio's Bibingka+Coffee.

 

SM CITY SAN LAZARO: Don't Miss Out on HUGE Savings with Their 3-Day Sale from SEPT.28-29-30, 2012

I know you'll be dying (literally) to know where to hunt for unbelievable discounted priced items. Here's a few tips where to hunt for great discounted items!

-Check out the lobby near the entrance because this is one of the usual area where they put their bags  on sale.

-Try to troop the activity center and you might just see some items that are definitely on SALE!

-And Lastly be sure to check out SM Department Store. As per experience, it's better to check the mall on it's first day so you'll have first crack of the sale items.!

SM CITY San Lazaro: New Food Finds at their SM FoodCourt

One thing I really enjoy blogging about is food. I came from a family who loves to eat most especially when I was a kid. My mom would always cook food, the one you will always see in parties or special occasions like Kare-Kare or Pancit Malabon. She also cooks my favorite Spaghetti even though there's no special occasion.

Oh how I miss those occasions I have with my parents. Being invited to food-tasting events for restaurants has been always an amazing experience for me. Every dish that was serve in front of my very eyes were like a gastronomical art piece that I'm afraid to touch or eat. Having went to almost all of the best tasting Restaurants Manila has offered, still nothing beats a feasts shared with friends.

Along with my other Foodie blogger friends, we decide to go to SM City San Lazaro to see what they have in-store for their mall-shoppers since it's both  Manila Day and Father's Day celebration that weekend.

Last June 16, 2012 SM City San Lazaro commemorates the celebration of Manila as City. My group decided to check SM City San Lazaro since the " feel" of the Manila Celebration is much better celebrated if we went to an SM Mall in Manila. A day before that we already went to see the sale activities and Manila Day celebrations held in another SM mall which is SM City Manila (I'm going to write about our visit there on my upcoming post).

According to Wikipedia, Manila was first known as Gintô (gold) or Suvarnadvipa by neighbouring settlements, and was officially the Kingdom of Maynila. The Kingdom flourished during the latter half of the Ming Dynasty as a result of direct trade relations with China. Ancient Tondo was maintained as the traditional capital of the empire, with its rulers as sovereign kings and not mere chieftains. Manila's culture is so rich that it houses the "oldest" Diocese in the country, The Archdiocese of Manila.

There is so much culture and heritage one can see if you want to visit Manila. But for that particular day, our group decided to check out how "crazy' the sale is in  and what new food finds can we discover at the SM FOODCOURT of SM City San Lazaro.


Here's how big the savings if you visited purchased at SM CITY SAN LAZARO's 3-Day Sale (June 15,16,17, 2012).

The shirts are the Big "eye-catcher" when it comes SALE at SM CITY SAN LAZARO, most especially the shirts that you can get as "70%" lower its original price. With the amount of percentage of each item , most likely you will be able to buy a shirt for your dad, husband and even your dad-in-law if you have a Php500 peso budget for Father's Day gifts.

The second day day of the sale which is on a Saturday, good thing we went there a bit earlier because it isn't too crowded yet. We all arrive around a little past 2pm and after hunting for fab and yet "on-sale" items, we decide we have to reward our tummies!

Since most of us in the group are invited to review restaurants, we thought of trying SM City San Lazaro's SM FOODCOURT. We heard that there are new additions to these very neat and clean SM FOOD COURT. We decided to try all these new food stalls after all we deserve "food-tripppin" after rummaging the sale.

First off is The BOY BINATOG, which served as our appetizer.

 Boy Binatog is a new kiosk stall located at SM FOODCOURT of SM City San Lazaro. I'm sure a lot of childhood memories with these corn-based merienda will be revived. Binatog is a local deli made from corn and boiled till tender. It is sprinkled with salt and coconut shreds (niyog). Boy Binatog revolutionized the way we eat our  "Binatog". One serving has corn topped with coconut shreds with a choice of either cheese or milky topping. For only Php25, you'll get a nutritious merienda serving. No need to wait for those selling Binatogs with their bikes!

My Pao serves affordable Chinese meals. The winner for me between the two would be the Pork Oriental. 

This is a must-try since it's not bad for Php 50 worth merienda.

LUGAW REPUBLIC

Known to the Foodcart Industry , Lugaw Republic invades SM Foodcourt and continues to get support from 'lugaw" or Pinoy congee lovers. I love their affordable and yet yummy lugaw and that wd be a perfect match with either Tokwa't Baboy and Lumpiang Gulay. Best chowed when it's piping hot!

Lots'a Pizza is a local Filipino enterprise known also for their delicious and affordable pizzas, so those for craving for a pizza break may grab a bite of their favorite flavors: GREAT MANHATTAN  14" for Php 279 and PURE BEEF SPECIAL (14") for only Php249.

Antonio's Coffee+Bibingka

Nothing beats Coffee when paired with yummy Pinoy deli like Bibingka or Puto Bongbong.

Take these yummy Bibingkas topped with Kesong-Puti and Muscovado sugar home for the family to enjoy. Who would resist Antonio's Bibingka when even the packaging is a royalty itself.!

A we are celebrating Manila Day at Sm there's another special occasion that SM CITY San LAZARO is so proud to celebrate and it is FATHER'S DAY. At the activity Center of the mall, you will the 2 fab card which the "Hobbyist Dad" can look forward to. Your Dad's favorite tools are also on SALE!

So don't be fooled! SM City San Lazaro only looks like a boring mall from the outside but wait till you get inside it's bursting with activities for its loyal shoppers!

This summer your activities may not only be limited to going out on a road trip or going to the beaches .  But for those who dread the outdoor activities and doesn’t like to do much strenuous activities this summer, my advice is check out the malls for activity.

I know everyone here will agree that it is “super-dupah” hot these days, and there are instances tha I would rather go to the mall to cool-up. You and your family can also do lots of things in the mall. You can hang-out and check the mall’s event and activities. Just like at SM CITY SAN LAZARO.

SM CITY SAN LAZARO started their hot “3-DAY SALE” last April 13,14 and 15, 2012. I went there on its 2^nd day and yet it is only there that I discovered that SM Foodcourt offers a wide of meal selection. I usually shop first before checking the sale items at their SM DEPT. STORE. But this time, I wanted to do it the other way.

I love shopping when I’m with somebody, may it be with friends or family. Shopping is much better if done with people who share the same passion as yours. Just like we did at SM CITY SAN LAZARO . Me and my foodie buddies that day literally had succumbed into “FOOD COMA”. FOOD COMA happens when their so much food that you literally say that it’s like eating for the last time. I know I shouldn’t be complaining. With the sumptuous food right on our tables, you might wish you were also there with us.

LUMPIANG SARIWA!

After surviving “FOOD COMA”, I think it’s time for us to burn those calories. So me and my group decided to finally check out SM San Lazaro Dept. Store 3-Day Sale. It was my first to visit SM San Lazaro SM DEPT.STORE and I must say the shopping ambiance here is different. The shoppers here are a bit relaxed. When I say it was relaxed, everyone was not rushing to grab and get hold of everything. Everything is in its smooth phase. Maybe it helped that SM San Lazaro is known to be a community mall for those living near the area. The SM Dept. STORE may be full but you can feel there’s no need to rush things. Shopping here is definitely for those who wanted their shopping experience to be some sort of “retail Therapy”. I mean you can shop at your pace and just be relaxed.

SM San Lazaro really did make me smile. I’m a fan of bags so when I saw these cute and fancy bubble bags , I know I just have to find out how I can have those bags. It’s very easy just like any other SM MALLS, they wanted it to be easy for their customers.

You just have to:

-Buy at least Php3,000 worth of items at the SM DEPT.STORE.

-Only 1 single Php3,000 single receipt entitles you to have 1 Bubble bag. (Accumulated receipts are not accepted)

And for those who have an iPhone 4s, here’s your big chance to own one.

-Just purchased 1,000 pesos worth of items at SM DEPT. STORE .

-Go to the designated booths and present your Php1,000 worth receipt and fill up the stub and drop it at the  drop-box.
