Last FEBRUARY 24, 2012, after I fetch my 2 sons at school. the first question they asked me is "where are we going Mama?". Of course that is a Friday, so as a prize to them, I told them we're going to the Nido Fortified Discover Science Center.
They have been there a couple of times so I didn't see any excitement on their faces. But still they I can see that they wanted to go.
It was the NATIONAL ASTRONOMY WEEK at the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center. Last week, I was able to be part of the unveiling the Astronomy week. Just like any mom would do, to help be more aware of what the Universe is all about, I decided to bring them here. I know the infos are way to big for their ages and minds to grasp but at least I was able to expose them. Here's to a mom hoping I could educate them about the Universe by bringing them here.
We came around 4p and attend the film showing and then around 9pm we went out by the bay to start the STAR GAZING activity.

This photo was taken before the actual Star gazing. My kids was still up on their even though it's a bit late already. I, too felt excited. It was my first time to see the planets and star a bit closer.
My eldest, Lj. I'm thankful for the experience because we didn't have to
go far to have this kind of activity.
The students were kind enough to hold him a bit high so my son could peep in the telescope.
Of course I wouldn't pass up on this experience!
