FIGARO: New Drinks and Food offerings to Perk Your Summer

Summer is fast approaching and it’ll only be a few weeks till we say hello to summer. Summer is acquainted with the hot temperature especially that we are living in a tropical country. But of course there are lots of ways to beat the hot season. And one answer to that is quenching our thirst. We the rising temperature we’re gonna experience, it ‘ ll be good for our body to feel more hydrated. 

This summer I plan to enjoy my summer getaways by indulging more of Figaro’s latest MILK TEA CRAZE. I have not visited Figaro lately but I’m sensing that I’ll always visit Figaro most especially with their new line of Milk Teas.

There’s more to these new FIGARO MILK TEA drinks: it also has “popping boba” . Its is red, soft thin-film of boba that’s gonna pop inside your mouth. I don’t know which Milk tea is my favorite. I both love these 2 new flavors. So the next time I’ll be visiting Figaro Gateway Mall, I’ll order these 2 new flavors.

Last Dec.28, 2011, Figaro opened a new branch in World Citi Colleges. Now even patients/outpatient and its Hospital community will now enjoy the Figaro coffee experience that Figaro Coffee Company can offer! 

And just residing a few kilometers away from it made me thankful because before the only branch I’m near, is Figaro Gateway Mall branch. Whenever I crave for their yummy pastries their Gateway Mall branch is my refuge.

But now that they opened here in World Citi Colleges and Hospital, it made my visits to Figaro more convenient.

FIGARO COFFEE'S NEW OFFERINGS 2011

We Filipinos are fond of eating rice on our breakfast. I am a living testimony of it. I grew from a family that eats rice with a combination usually of our favorite hotdog, Tapa or Bangus. For us it is considered a breakfast if it served with " Fried" rice or "steaming" newly cooked rice.  Even now that I have a family of my own , I make sure that once my kids wakes up in the morning , The breakfast table is already set. Eating Breakfast is a must most specially this is considered our first meal of the day. Nutritionist usually recommends to eat a lot in the morning since it is important that we are properly fed to have the much -needed energy requirement that our daily physical activities requires. But here's my recent gastronomic experience that will be waking you off from you every morning of your life...Been wanting to know where is my latest gastronomic get-away just recently?

Fried Slices of marinated Beef served also with Toamto-Cucumber salsa , rice with bits of toasted Garlic and egg.

My personal favorite from the All Day Breakfast Menu of Figaro Coffee.

Another favorite! I recommend this for the people on the watch of their diet. Marinated boneless Bangus with tomato-cucumber salsa rice with bits of toasted garlic. But much better if there's more salsa , right?

This breakfast gourmet meal also comes with brewed coffee. Not bad for the pockets! hahaha!

Having a shot of my fave BLACK BERRY MOCHA FROST ! I have to slowly sipped it so the taste of it will linger on my taste buds!

It's hard to choose from the two since I both loved the concoctions but in the the end The Black Berry Mocha Frost won my heart. Both Drinks are ice-blended but their difference is that the first one has Black Berry flavor while the other one has White Chocolate and Nutty Macadamia but both with Whipped cream. How about you ? What's your choice?

This Linguini pasta is  with Shrimp that's why i love it. Having Shrimp on my pasta is a different experience. After having tasted it , Uhmmm, It's yummy! Nowadays it's nice eating taking note of the healthy side. It also has Olive oil, dried chili topped with finely chopped garlic and Parmesan Cheese.

Also a Linguini pasta in garlic, Olive oil with the addition of Dried Chili Flakes garnished with finely chopped parsley and Parmesan Cheese and 2 slices also of Garlic Bread.

 

After the PASTAS here comes another favorite ... Figaro Coffee PERFECTLY PIZZA ...

This is a personalized pizza and I'm loving it because it's topped with "Fresh" ingredients like BASIL and TOMATO and Mozarrella Cheese . It's light on the tummy so no worries for those who don't want that additional "bulge".

SPAGNOLO SARDINE is a personalized pizza too topped with Sardines, Green bell-pepper, Black Olives, fresh Tomatoes and Pizza Cheese and Mozarrella cheese. Oh! I'm  craving again for this pizza while I'm doing this post1 What Do I do !?

 

Wait here's more ...The CALZONES !!!

Figaro Coffee has two Calzones offering to indulge...PEPPERONI CALZONE a turnover made from soft and chewable pizza dough with PEPPERONI, Cheese, and Tomato filling. The 2nd one is SUPREME CALZONE , a turnover also made from soft and chewable pizza dough with ITALIAN SAUSAGE, Cheese and Tomato filling. I both love this two Calzones. I prefer this with PEACH LATTE at P110 a cup .

 Peach Latte at P110 each

Peach Latte is a burst of sweet and fruity goodness , 100% Premium Arabica Beans and refreshingly Smooth while Chocolate Cookie Latte has Chocolate and freshly-baked cookies with Premium Arabica Beans. Either of the two  is also best served with TIRAMISU ECLAIR.

 

Tiramisu Eclair at P65 each

This eclair is very different from the other eclairs I have tasted. Before tasting it I said to myself  "another bulk on my tummy" but after having a bite , it feels like as if it's not full of sugar in its content. This eclair is also made from cream-puff pastry dough. It is split length-wise and filled with Tiramisu-flavored cream and finished with a coating and drizzle of White chocolate and Almond nuts.
