Potion iVi Premium Collagen Drink: The Glowing-after Effect!

Well as promised in my previous post about Potion iVi Premium Collagen Drink, I will be sharing with you guys my experience using this wonder drink, The Potion iVi Premium Collagen Drink. 

 This is how it looks like in its powdered form.

 I am currently drink it in the morning on an empty stomach as prescribed by the doctor. I am drinking it wit my favorite coffee. But I also tried drinking it with out coffee to see if it taste good. After drinking with out any coffee in it I decided to switch back in drinking it with coffee not because it taste bad but simply because I enjoyed it much better with my coffee. But nonetheless, it safe to drink with any of your favorite beverage. And to top it all, its efficacy is guaranteed since its Japan-made ( IVI RYO Japanese Manufacturers) and passed the Philippine Food and Drug Administration  (FDA) policies so we and all its users are guaranteed of its safety.

 This is my fave coffee with 1 sachet of Potion iVi Premium Collagen Drink.

I have never been conscious with how I look but with the information that I've read about it. It seems harmless to try and see the difference.

Let me just give some infos why Collagen is important to our skin.

• Collagen depletion is equal to wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, poor skin and etc. So imagine our thinning ozone layer and how it affects our skin.It is just right to replace the collagen that our skin loses everyday.
• Why is there need to replenish the amount of Collagen in our body. Well according to some information I've read, Collagen help in replenishing our skin dryness and firming and tightening the layers of our skin , making more look youthful, not sagging and dry.

And after drinking it for almost a month, here's what I've noticed. In my photos you will surely see that there is an improvement.

If you will give my "before" photo a deep glance it's oily and have bit of sag in the face. But in my "after" and present photo it tightened a bit . And I looked more refresh and there's an added glow. Plus I think this product became more effective with me because I sleep early now and sleep more than eight hours now. And I guess I always try to think of happy thoughts . I guess it shows in the aura if try to live differently.

Another plus that I've notice is that, before I don't have regular bowel movement, but now it became a regular activity for me. And a lot of people that I just met can't believe that I'm already a mom (of two boys with ages 7 and 5 respectively.)! Yay! of course I'm happy with the compliments. I did hear a new acquaintance say, "weh , nde nga anak m yan?! ( really? you have kids already?).

One box of Potion iVi Premium Collagen Drink costs Php 1,595 with 14 sachets in it. But you can also purchase it on a per sachet basis of only Php115. It is already available at your favorite drugstores and Watsons store.

Alfahkr’s Persian Food: Persian Food Satisfaction!

I am not that familiar with Persian food but when me and some blogger friends got the chance to visit Alfahkr’s Persian Food, I was more than curious to go! The only Persian food I know is SHAWARMA so a visit to Alfahkr’s Persian Food is a good Persian food itinerary for someone like me who doesn't know Persian food that much.

Alfahkr’s Persian Food is humbly located at72 Maginhawa St. Q.C. This street is a strip of various restos and dining places. But Alfahkr's uniquely the only place that serves Persian food.

Here are some of the favorites that I will be recommending you to check out once you get to visit the place.

Grilled Persian Chicken (Php 90)

It tastes like curried chicken then grilled. This is good for those who would stick on their diet.

But it also comes with rice if you want just add Php 12 (plain rice) or Php15 (buttered rice).

Keema  (Php60)

Sauteed ground beef in special spices.

Lamb Chop (Php165)

It's an Australian lamb basted in marinade and grilled to goodness.

I really enjoyed this one. As for my own version I ate with Pita Bread (Php10 additional)

and put on a lot of Garlic sauce and Chili.

Beef and Chicken Kebab w/ Rice ( Php125)

This is for those who wanted to eat both beef and Chicken Kebab.

This is a certified tummy-filler!

This is what I got for my drink! After all the chili and garlic sauce ,this is indeed the the ultimate thirst 

quencher. Their YOGURT SHAKES (comes with three flavors Strawberry,Mango, and Plain)

for only Php60.

L.A.C Farms Produces Safe Lagundi the Organic Way

Last Oct. 27, 2011, Along with other Mommy Bloggers, we had this rare opportunity to visit LAC Farms (Leonie Agri Corp.) in Sta. Rosa , Laguna.

At the entrance you will notice the lush greens and the vast variations of Herbs used for cooking and natural healing.

LAC FARMS is certified as the first and “ largest “ organic farm in the country. The farm adapted the organic way of farming meaning all the vegetables here are organically grown. You can also find various herbs, spices and medicinal plants grown here.

 Among the many medicinal herbs that occupies a big area of the farm is the "lagundi".

 And most of the lagundi leaves that are harvested are processed here and eventually packaged into bottles !

Upon arriving, for almost 3 ½ hour drive from Manila, we were given a welcome drink composed of Tanglad juice paired with Passion fruit. It tastes a bit weir for me because the taste of Tanglad reminds me of mosquito repellants. It’s the same smell with all the repellants out in the market. Along with the juice is Boiled Corn. All of these are grown in these farm.

After that welcome treat we were given a short trip of the farm wherein we were shown their vast collection of spices and herbs. I was so surprised because I thought I already knew all the medicinal herbs. But I was wrong, there’s still more contrary to what I have known in the past.

One of the medicinal plants that this farm boasts of is their vast plantation of lagundi. Lagundi is known to treat cough ailments.

Here in LAC Farms, Lagundi is organically grown along with other medicinal plants. To give you a brief background, Leonie Agri Corp., is tagged as “ cursed or barren Land”, It was established last Decmber 13, 2002 and was headed by LAC President and PASCUAL LAB Chief innovation Officer Engr.Jun Saret and LAC General Manager Andy Parnucho. With their painstaking efforts, this land transformed in a “Promised land”.

As I observed the place, It was so God-centered because each area in these farm were named after the Bible verses. And as we toured the farm, we saw vast plantations of Lagundi. Moms or Parents who will be buying ASCOF Lagundi, is assured that the farming processes used to cultivate Lagundi is safe . It is safe because they don't use harmful chemicals or pesticides on all their plants. All the used Lagundi leaves are utilized as compost or fertilizers for their plants.

Lac Farms also helps their partners, the Farmers by paying what they have planted and harvested. So I guess they only not make money from lagundi but they are been helping farmers make money.

I commend LAC Farms for initiating such campaigns and advocating living green. Although I'm not yet Going green, I am now actually giving it a thought. Going and living green will not only benefit me but also my family. The thought gave my mind a fresh breeze (literally).

A visit to LAC FARMS has made me thinking of living in the sub-urban province, where air is fresh and away from the chaotic MANILA.

Magnolia in Partnership the Dept. of Education Launches its Healthy Drinks line to Schools

I have two sons , the youngest is in kindergarten while the eldest is in first grade. I don't give money as "baon" to my kids. I usually prepare their snacks for school to make sure that what they're eating and drinking is clean and nutritious.

So when I got invited to by San Miguel (beverages dept.) for their presscon, It got me curious. Upon kearning the invite that Magnolia fruit drinks is partnering with Dep-ed for their advocacy program that will run for an un- accounted period of time, I said to myself that I gottta hear and see what they are advocating. During the presscon , I was more than  happy and privileged that they are targetting public schools to be apart of their program. They said that in aid of Magnolia's partnership with Dept. Ed, Magnloia will be giving away books to kids all over the metro and near provinces
