Most of the entries came from Greater Manila Area (GMA) like Quezon City, Makati and Manila. I am so happy that this year more songwriters/composers are getting out of their "shells" and trying their luck to join this prestigious song-writing competition which was spearheaded by music "Maestro" himself, Mr.Ryan Cayabyab.

His talents spreads out from music as he coaches hip-hop crews around the world

The Top 12 Finalists will vie for the P1 Million Grand Prize. PhilPop 2013 is supported by Maynilad, Smart, Meralco, PLDT, Resorts World Manila, TV5, Metro pacific Investments Corporation, NLEX, Sun Cellular, First Pacific Leadership Academy, KBP, and Philex.

:D This looks promising. Even when some people are bitter~ Oh well. In contests, people win, people lose. It wouldn't be a contest if everybody won---that'll be charity.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone say that everyone should win? What we are asking for is a FAIR contest. What makes you so SURE that THESE are the ones who were RIGHTFUL to win? Whatever they say, these so-called "winners" are connected/related to the 140 seats (judges). Are you wondering how I knew? I know a LOT about Philpop. More than you do actually. ;)
